JAIME LEVY’S BIOGRAPHY

Jaime Levy is an author, university professor and a pioneer in the creation of innovative digital products and services. Her best-selling O'Reilly Media book is called UX Strategy: How to Devise Innovative Digital Products that People Want. The book presents a solid framework on the practice, which lies at the intersection of UX design and business strategy.
"Although UX design encompasses numerous details such as visual design, content messaging, and how easy it is for a user to accomplish a task, UX Strategy is the "Big Picture". It is the high-level plan to achieve one or more business goals under conditions of uncertainty." Jaime Levy
She currently runs Jaime Levy Consulting, a digital strategy firm out of Los Angeles, California. Jaime also teaches graduate-level courses on UX design and UX strategy at the University of Southern California. You can read more about her on Wikipedia.

PURPOSE OF THE TRAINING

User Experience (UX) strategy requires a careful blend of business strategy and UX design, but until now, there hasn’t been an easy-to-apply framework for executing it.
This hands-on training introduces lightweight strategy tools and techniques to help you and your team craft innovative digital products that people want to use.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, UX/UI designer, product manager, or part of an intrapreneurial team, this workshop will teach you simple-to-advanced methods that you can use in your work right away. Along with business cases, historical context, and real-world examples throughout, you’ll also gain different perspectives on the subject.

TRAINING PEDAGOGY

During these two days, you will benefit from a unique training experience.
You will be required to implement all the steps of the UX Strategy methodology in order to solve a concrete problem (creation of a service, design of an application, redesign of customer path…). Jaime will assist you in the realization through-out the workshop sessions toward a prototype concept that could be used for testing your value proposition.

This curriculum is designed according to the following principles:

    • Time spent learning divided between 40% theory & 60% practice
    • Illustration of the UX Strategy on concrete cases
    • Implementation of the UX Strategy and its workshops
    • Regular exchanges with Jaime Levy and participants
  • Evaluation by passing the UX Strategist certification at the end of the two days

TECHNICAL FACILITIES

    • Training locations: in person in our creativity room
    • Meals: breakfast, lunch and other snacks and beverages will be provided
    • Technology: large screen will be used for the projection of teaching materials and practical exercises
    • Teaching material: provision of all the material (post-it, felt pens, tape, scissors…)
    • Learning materials: each learner will have a USB key with the training materials (and/or sent by email if necessary) as well as Jaime Levy’s UX Strategy book in PDF format
